I am watching a TV show online and I want to get a short audio clip from it into an MP3 file. How do I do this?

Get audacity, it's free.

www.rugby-online.tv offers live rugby union streaming but asks your for your email before you get through to any info on cost. Has anyone joined and can tell me how much it costs?

That site looks like a fad to me.
They look to focused on getting you signed up and paid and not on providing the service. I should think they are just selling software for TV stations and letting you do the hard work in trying to find out where the rugby is.
I have used watchliverugby.com now since the Rugby Union World Cup last year and they have been nothing short of brilliant for me personally and would recommend them to anyone.

I need to replace my 50" plasma TV that was stolen from my house. Originally I paid about $3150 at Sears plus tax and delivery. I now see that if I order it online, I can get it for about $2500. But I'm not sure if I trust having it shipped to my house, because I know how fragile the plasma screens are. Of course, I have no idea how Sears treated the TV I bought as it was being delivered (and the delivery guys were kind of sleazy anyway).

So, has anyone out there successfully ordered a big screen plasma TV online, and had it shipped to your house, and received it with no problems and no damage? If so, where did you buy it and how was it shipped? Thanks in advance.

You have every right to be concerned. My best friend and I ordered both our new TVs about the same time, me a 40" LCD and him a 42" plasma, from online stores and had totally different experiences.

First it wasn't shipped on time, and then the delivery didn't come during the scheduled window on the scheduled day. The worst part was his Plasma was actually broken while being delivered to his house and he had to fight the store to get the TV replaced becuase they stated that it was fine when it was delivered. It took him 2 weeks to get a replacement. I don't want to say who it was because I'm not sure if I'd get a ding from Yahoo for bad mouthing them, but let's just say its a Major Chain with a Blue and Yellow price tag logo. :-)

Now since I'm not bad mouthing the company I bought mine from I'll post the name. I got it from Crutchfield. It was the exact opposite experience for me. Seriously…not only did I get the best price I could find, they a White gloves delivery service, they beat the stated shipped lead time (shipped the same day actually), and it arrived two days later with standard shipping. The delivery guys were on time, courteous and even removed the packing materials and stuff when they left. I would highly recommend Crutchfield, they do an awesome job on anything you order (I order from them all the time) they also have amazing support both technical and customer service wise.

Final note, I had another friend who ordered a plasma from NewEgg.com and had a great experience too. I order stuff from them all the time just didn't get my TV there.

I’m looking for a small, standard definition LCD TV. It needs to be small (in the region of 15-19″) because I have not got much room. And it needs to be standard definition because I plan on playing old games consoles on it. And I’d prefer to buy it online from a site in the UK.

They don’t sell new ones here in the US anymore. I think you’re talking about EDTV, I had one a while back. If you have used tv listings over there, like craigslist, check them out. I don’t think you’ll find a new one.
